You know, it's just about time for the annual brain School at frail and Biomedical Research Institute. What are you curious about when it comes to the brand? Yeah, I'm curious. Is the brain able to change or am I wired this way for life? Great question. I bet a brain expert would have the answer. Let's ask, one. Brain can certainly change, but you don't want too much change in your brain. E.g. the major connections between brain areas. You don't want to change too much. Visual information coming into your eyes goes through a nerve track that you do not want to change. You don't want your eye all of a sudden going to a part of your brain that's not designed to process visual information. But on the other hand, connections between individual neurons are constantly changing. Anytime we've earned or experienced something new, acquire a new skill, the connections between individual neurons are going to change and that forms the basis of learning and memory.
