Ex Lapide and alumni hosted the Virginia Tech booth during the weekend festivities of Capital Pride 2022. To encourage fellowship and to represent the needs of Virginia Tech's LGBTQIA+ community is continuously the goal. The success of the society depends on alumni, students, faculty, staff, and other partners, who are willing to volunteer and support the efforts of the society.
It's really important for us, that folks have a chance to kind of be their authentic self. And so as part of the Alumni Association and University Advancement, where we're hoping that we have an opportunity to bridge our alums and current students to help make it feel like there's a broader sense of community. So that students don't feel, so isolated as part of their time whether at (VA) Tech or post graduation. Virginia Tech is here, we're all one big nation and doesn't make a difference who you are, what you are. But if you're a Hokie or you're apart of the club now. So be apart of Blacksburg, be apart of Virginia Tech, and be proud to be a Hokie.
