Video duration: Dean Learman CVC Video
Dean Lee Learman from the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine is proud to announce the start of the 2021 Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC).
I am proud to be part of the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign, and honored to serve as this year's honorary chair. The generosity of Virginia Tech employees over the years has touched the lives of many children, adults, and veterans. Even a small donation can make a difference. Just a few dollars per paycheck can go a long way in helping meet the most basic needs of vulnerable members of our community. For me, it's knowing that the charities I am passionate about are making a difference. Whether that's providing a child with a fresh nutritious meal through Feeding Southwest Virginia or health care for a chronic illness through the Bradley Free Clinic, I know my contributions are helping those who need it most. With more than 900 charities to choose from, you can easily find one that is important to you. Our goal for the campaign this year is $390,000. Just as our motto Ut Prosim calls upon us to do, I know that together we will serve our communities just as Hokie Nation always has and make this year's campaign another great success. Thank you for your support and go Hokies!
