When the COVID-19 pandemic impacted local Blacksburg businesses, Virginia Tech alum Jeff Werner teamed up with several other Hokie alums to develop the Localyte app, a digital marketplace that allows users to download gift cards from local businesses to use for themselves or to gift to family and friends.
