[00:00:01] >> I'm Brittany Christensen, I'm studying Environmental Resource Management here at Virginia Tech. I love the College of Natural Resources, and all the people in it and the professors the experiences. Definitely the outdoor labs have, I felt like, prepared me a lot and a lot of my classes when you have this mindset of what you want to go into in the future you can kind of see what information you're learning actually applies. [00:00:30] You take more care in memorizing that kind of stuff. This path presented opportunities I never even knew existed, you need to take advantage of opportunities when they come along and they're not just going to be handed to you so I feel like I've done a lot of that. [00:00:49] Because when are you going to have this much experience all just consolidated into 4 years? The rest of your life, it's going to be you're going to be learning the rest of your life. But here it's like super focused and I love that that's kind of why I want to go back into school Masters and Ph.D. [00:01:08] This is definitely my second home. Sometimes it's weird to reflect, because Freshman and Sophomore year it would be like I would feel more at home here than when I go back for breaks. So it's very interesting, I found my calling in the mountains.
