During the early weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic, Virginia Tech alumni and part-time DJ, Chris Kopec, '00, threw a live-streamed basement dance party to cheer up his family, but to his surprise ended up lifting the spirits of millions around the globe and raising funds to help thousands.
