Apply soap, scrub them vigorously for at least 20 seconds this is the most critical step in order to make sure that you're removing the bacteria. [00:00:20] Run the tips of your fingers along your soapy palm to make sure you get under your fingernails. Rinse completely under running water. Dry your hands with a single use paper towel use the paper towel to turn off the faucet to ensure you don't recontaminate your hands. Washing your hands properly is the most important thing that you can do to prevent spread of illness.
