Menah Pratt-Clarke, Vice President of Strategic Affairs addresses the Virginia Tech community to remember what is important and to embody our Principles of Community.

Our family and friends usually rise to the top of the list, at Virginia Tech we consider ourselves to be part of a family that we finally call the Hokie nation. It's a family that's built on dignity, humanity, and value of each member, we celebrate and remember our collective diversity and we lean on each other when times are tough. [00:00:28] And this is an extraordinary time that requires us to remember our extraordinary kindness that we have here, our Principles of Community, our commitment to Ut Prosim, that I may serve. Our commitment to Inclusive VT all serve as a foundation for us as we try to navigate through this time, so let us remember to continue to practice the values that we believe in as we get through this time in our nation's history.
