The university held Veterans Day events to honor the service of the nation’s military. The Veterans Day remembrance ceremony was held in the War Memorial Chapel. Del. Nick Rush, of Virginia’s 7th District, spoke. Then, Rush and Maj. Gen. Randal Fullhart, commandant of cadets, placed the memorial wreath in front of the cenotaph on War Memorial Court. The Gregory Guard, the corps’ precision rifle drill team, fired a rifle salute, and a bugler played Taps.
