Brandy Salmon, COO of the Innovation Campus, welcomes David A. Baker to Virginia Tech’s Office of Government and Community Affairs. Baker will serve as the Assistant Director for the Innovation Campus.

[00:00:00] >> As the managing director for the for the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus, I am so excited to welcome David Baker to our team. David is our new, assistant director of government relations and will be our community relations contact in Alexandria. It makes total sense that David was our first hire for the campus because we are so committed to the area and want to engage with the community as soon and as often as possible. [00:00:21] David's office will be on Prince Street in Old Town Alexandria but he will spend his time out and about making the rounds and sharing updates on Virginia Tech's forward momentum to realize our campus at National Landing. David has shared with me his genuine interest in listening to the community and understanding how we can best be neighbors and friends to everyone here.
