Hannah Looney and Jose Luis Herrera do some last-minute worrying as they and their colleague, Alessandra Nicole Hidalgo, prepare to give a presentation on ways to encourage trash removal. They stakes are high -- they are competing for a hypothetical $100k in funding. And, of course, the students are getting a grade for this work.

[00:00:00] >> [MUSIC] [00:00:04] Yesterday we were working all day, so, yes, I think we're ready. Ummm, I don't know I guess we'll see when the presentation starts. I mean I think we have a really good proposal. That is definitely doable. You know if it were to be implemented in real life. We- we have asked asked each other about our opinion. [00:00:26] We have divided the work. We have also research about, in respect of the things that have been done in respect of this problem. We ran through several options, and we found this one was the best one and most doable. The whole plan is to get trash out of the streets. [00:00:45] I mean the kids play in it, or with it, the animals eat it. When the rain comes it gets washed to the rivers, washed into the fields, hurts the crops, and so we're really just trying to teach the people, like, hey, maybe you are used to this, but it's not a healthy way to live. [00:01:00] Even though this is not a huge problem, you know, it's not like crime in cities or industrial pollution, it has been the right decision because it's a problem that has existed since years before. [INAUDIBLE] We have Jose Luis and Alessandra. Hannah- Hannah would be the leadership of the team, because, of the group, because she always wants everything good. [00:01:33] But I think I switch back and forth between being, like, everything's fine and worrying. Jose Luis was all the time, like, It's all fine, everything's fine, I'm gonna take a nap. No, no [CROSSTALK] I have been sick these two days. [LAUGH] I think we all brought something different. [00:01:57] It's gonna be good because we have research and we have written and we have prepared something that is good.Yeah.
