Jack Holland suffered a spinal injury his senior year of high school during a football game that forced him to re-evaluate his dream of attending the U.S. Naval Academy. When an extensive recovery period prevented him from completing the necessary physical assessments required for admission into the Naval Academy, it was Virginia Tech’s commitment to Ut Prosim (That I May Serve) and sense of community that inspired him to choose Virginia Tech and the Corps of Cadets.

Jack is studying finance and management in the Pamplin College of Business. He served as regimental commander in the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets for the fall 2018 semester, a Hokie Ambassador, and an orientation leader and has been recognized as an Aspirations Fellow. He’s also a member of the Student Alumni Associates and Omicron Delta Kappa, as well as a recipient of the Emerging Leader Scholarship and the Wells Fargo Leadership Development Scholarship.
