Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam received an update on cutting-edge research and entrepreneurial efforts at Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute in Roanoke on Oct. 2. In attendance were VTCRI Executive Director Michael Friedlander, Virginia Tech President Tim Sands, and Heywood Fralin of the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.
