Though he's not an alumnus of Virginia Tech, Ray Zinn is investing in the university because he believes in the students ability to become successful entrepreneurs — so much so, that he developed a program for seed funding right here at Virginia Tech first, called ZinnStarter. The program has since spread to four other U.S. universities.
