Montgomery County school students are receiving music instruction through the Virginia Tech String Project. Graduate and undergraduate teachers, under the supervision of Virginia Tech Music faculty, give small group and individualized instruction on a variety of string instruments. Due to COVID-19, weekly instruction this year has utilized Zoom, with monthly in-person gatherings on campus, where social distancing can be maintained.
