Registration now open for university's Fiscal Training Program

Registration is now open for the university’s Fiscal Training Program, a certificate-based learning and development experience aimed at building fiscal expertise within a strong ethical framework.
Program participants will learn higher education financial concepts, policy navigation, compliance-driven practices, operational procedures, business intelligence tools and decision-making skills.
The program is structured as a module-based curriculum that guides participants through a progressive series of four certification levels:
- Introduction to Fiscal Support (9 modules): Introduction to financial ethics and operational policies and procedures
- Fiscal Support (11 modules): Mastering financial ethics and operational policies and procedures
- Fiscal Management (20 modules): Developing solutions to the challenges faced by a unit business manager.
- Fiscal Leadership (20 modules plus additional activities): Applying fiscal expertise to strategic issues in a department, college or research center.
Each module includes an online learning component, cohort-based Zoom instruction and activities, and self-paced technology exercises.
This program is intended for employees with financial or administrative responsibilities; however, anyone with an interest in finance is welcome to register.
