Registration open for annual Business Practices Webinar

Registration is now open for the university’s 2022 Business Practices Webinar. Offered virtually, this year’s program will be split into six sessions across three days: Oct. 17, Oct. 31, and Nov. 7.

Department heads, directors, business managers, or any other fiscal or administrative employees are encouraged to attend, but all employees are welcome. There is no cost to employees and participants are also eligible to earn CPE credit.

The following sessions will be offered:

  • Oct. 17 - Buying Business Meals or Catering Services at Virginia Tech - America To Go;  IT Policy and Standards Update and IT Security Awareness Program.
  • Oct. 31 - Export Controls and Sanctions;  HR Systems Review.
  • Nov. 7 - Internal Controls and Risk Mitigation;  FINTRACS - New Financial Review Tool.
