From: Commonwealth Cyber Initiative

Virginia researchers in the Arts and Design disciplines, who are also interested in technology, can find collaborators to participate in a funded program at a workshop hosted by the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI), an initiative of the Commonwealth of Virginia to generate economic impact through research at the intersection of cybersecurity, autonomous systems, and data.

This workshop is intended to bring together CCI researchers and Virginia researchers in the Arts and Design disciplines who are interested in technology. The goal is to lay the groundwork for interdisciplinary proposals for novel presentations of data generated by CCI research. This workshop is the first step towards bringing this interdisciplinary community together. It will start with very brief presentations of some example areas of CCI research, followed by an open discussion of what a funded collaborative program could look like.

The workshop will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET on Friday, September 11.

The workshop is co-organized with the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology (ICAT) at Virginia Tech, with participation from the VCU da Vinci Center for Innovation.
