Parking lot closure: Undergraduate Science Laboratory Building construction

In preparation for the Undergraduate Science Laboratory Building capital construction project, on Friday, April 8, the Perry Street Lot 1 will be permanently closed. To accommodate equipment staging, Prices Fork Lot 6 will be temporarily closed.

The Undergraduate Science Laboratory Building will provide critical teaching laboratory and general use classroom space to support Virginia Tech’s growing enrollment and Beyond Boundaries vision.

Pedestrian pathways will be available along West Campus Drive and Perry Street.

ADA parking is not impacted as part of this project. Nearby ADA parking spaces can be found in the Perry Street Garage.

Alternative nearby parking locations for the university community include: 

• Perry Street Garage
• Drillfield
• the Inn at Virginia Tech
• Hahn lot
• Davidson lot
• Solitude lot
