Original Notice:

The Virginia Tech Police Department has taken two reports of and recovered two separate video recording devices, which were located in public restrooms on campus. One of the devices was disguised as a USB wall charger, which was plugged into a live electrical outlet. The other device was disguised as a clothing hook, which was mounted with adhesive and Velcro on a bathroom wall.

If you encounter suspicious items that may be recording devices, please contact the Virginia Tech Police Department immediately at the non-emergency number, 540-382-4343. Please do not remove the item yourself, as this may interfere with obtaining evidence.
