Pedestrian, parking impacts: Slusher Hall Repairs

To accommodate completion efforts related to the Slusher Hall repairs capital construction project which occurred over the summer following authorization from Virginia Tech's Board of Visitors Executive Committee on May 9, the following temporary pedestrian and parking impacts will occur from approximately Friday, Aug. 25 - Saturday, Sept. 2: 

A portion of the Ag Quad Parking Lot along with nearby sidewalks leading to and along Slusher Hall will be closed.

During this time, all ADA parking spaces will remain available. 

Drivers are encouraged to utilize nearby alternative parking lots and to exercise caution and obey posted signage. 

Alternative pedestrian routes will be available alongside the construction fencing through the Ag Quad Parking Lot to the Drillfield. Accessible pathways will not be impacted by this work. 

Directional signage will be posted to assist with navigation.

During construction closeout, a portion of the Ag Quad Parking Lot along with nearby pathways to Slusher Hall will be closed. ADA parking spaces will not be impacted. Alternative pedestrian pathways will be available alongside the construction fence line.
