Traffic impacts: Town of Blacksburg roadwork

To accommodate street resurfacing beginning Tuesday, June 7, by the Town of Blacksburg, there will be single lane and intermittent road closures between 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. near the following locations:

• Otey Street, between College Avenue and Washington Street.
• West Roanoke Street, between Draper Road and Otey Street.

Please be advised that on-street parking will not be permitted during paving operations. Drivers should exercise caution when traveling and may expect delays.

Street resurfacing will also occur on Southgate Drive - between Airport Road and Sterrett Drive - starting Wednesday, June 8. During work, the street will be closed to through traffic (neighborhood traffic is permitted) from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. On-street parking will not be permitted.
