COVID-19 signage updates for university colleges and departments

From: University Relations and Virginia Tech Emergency Management

Virginia Tech will soon deploy a centralized process to hang new COVID-19-related semi-permanent signage in public-facing university spaces.

Blacksburg campus

The Division of Campus Planning, Infrastructure, and Facilities will be hanging new signage on building entrance doors, and in common spaces like stairwells and lobbies, on the Blacksburg campus. They will also remove the old signs. The signage includes the language: “Please wear a mask if you are unvaccinated.”

For signage needs within restrooms, office suites, labs, waiting areas, conference rooms, and more, colleges and departments are encouraged to access the COVID-19 and public health creative resources available for download and self-serve printing at vt.edu/ready/communications-resources.
