Application open: Barbara Lockee Native American Tribal Honors Scholarship

Administered by the American Indian and Indigenous Community Center, the Dr. Barbara Lockee Native American Tribal Honors Scholarship is a one-time scholarship awarded to rising sophomores, juniors or seniors who have a Native American tribal affiliation. Preference will be given to eligible students who have academic merit and a minimum GPA of 3.0. Recipients will be eligible to continue to receive the awards in subsequent academic years as long as they continue to qualify (renewable). Scholarship recipients will be required to participate in at least two programs of theĀ American Indian and Indigenous Community CenterĀ each semester.

Five awards will be given annually in the amount of $2,000. Applications are open now through April 1.
