Virginia Tech continues pay supplement for eligible full-time staff employees in 2023

In March 2019, Virginia Tech announced the implementation of a $500 pay supplement to be issued to full-time, benefits-eligible university and classified staff employees with an annual salary of $35,500 or less. 

With continued support from university leaders, the supplement will be issued again for 2023 on Jan. 13 to approximately 450 eligible staff members.

This taxable pay supplement is intended to help defray employment costs such as parking or childcare, and is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to create a culture of excellence throughout the organization.
