Call for faculty to nominate students for the 2023 Astronaut Scholarship

Two students will be selected for two $15,000 scholarships from a pool of Virginia Tech candidates. Nominate a student here: https://forms.gle/Yd2dD6ULkWXCNVzZ8

Nominations will be accepted up to Feb. 15.

Eligibility:

• U.S. citizenship
• Student must be a current sophomore or junior
• Students must be enrolled in both semesters for the year they will receive the scholarship (2023/2024)
• STEM degree with intentions to pursue research or advance their field upon completion of their final degrees.
• Students pursuing a practice in professional medicine are not eligible for the scholarship. However, those intending to perform biomedical research are eligible.
