Please join the Council on Virginia Tech History at an unveiling for two original works of public art on the Blacksburg campus. See the story of these unique works commissioned by the Council for permanent installation on the grounds of Solitude House and the Fraction Family House — the two oldest structures on campus. Hear the vision of the inspired artists Carrie Gault and Charlie Brouwer. 

This is the final Council event for the university’s sesquicentennial celebration (2021 - 22).
