Virginia Tech officials are monitoring the track of Tropical Storm Ian as it approaches the commonwealth. Adjustments to university operations that could be affected by the storm's remnants will be posted to the university status page.

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin has declared a State of Emergency for the commonwealth.
