Come join us for Plain White T's as part of the 15th annual Daniel Pearl* Music Day Concert happening at the Lyric Theatre, downtown Blacksburg, Thursday, Oct. 21.
Doors open at 6:30 and student tickets can be found here - https://bit.ly/DPMD21. You must bring your student ID to the event to receive the student ticket rate. Don't wait, prices go up the day of the event.
DPMD is about bringing a community together through music and on Sunday, Oct. 24, we will continue the experience of connecting others through food at Picnic for Peace, an opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds while eating delicious food at the Duck Pond.
*Daniel Pearl was a Jewish journalist and musician who was kidnapped and murdered in Pakistan in 2002. As he traveled around the world, he was able to connect with people all over through their shared love of music. Each year, individuals honor his memory by putting on a series of international concerts that use the universal language of music to encourage people of all backgrounds to set aside their differences and come together to work toward a more humane world.
