Graduate and Professional School Fair at Virginia Tech coming Oct. 4
From: Graduate School
Virginia Tech’s annual Graduate and Professional School Fair (GPSF) will take place on Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on a virtual platform and is open to all Virginia Tech students. Approximately 100 recruiters from programs and schools located throughout the nation participate in this free event every year. Recruiters provide tips, insights, and details about their graduate programs for hundreds of rising juniors and seniors as well as other students interested in pursuing graduate and professional degrees. Recruiters represent a wide range of fields, including business, law, medicine, public policy, education, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, human sciences, and more.
Hosted by the university’s Graduate and Professional Student Senate, in conjunction with the Virginia Tech Graduate School Office of Recruitment, Diversity, and Inclusion, this virtual event allows students and recruiters to attend from any location. The online platform, Brazen, offers attendees the opportunity to interact with recruiters via video or chat. Students can schedule meetings with recruiters in advance of the event, if desired. Students also have the option to market their skills by uploading their CV or resume and transcripts. Those who attend the fair and visit five school booths to have the chance to win a raffle prize from a local Blacksburg business.
Students will receive registration details through their VT email addresses closer to the date of the event. Students can prepare for the fair by attending Career and Professional Development’s Preparation Session on Monday, Sept. 27, 2021 from 12-1 p.m. Register at bit.ly/3kpka5W.
