New telework and alternate work schedule agreements forms site coming soon

As the Virginia Tech community prepares for the fall semester, Human Resources is working on new tools and resources to help employees and managers explore flexible work arrangements, including telework and alternate work schedules.
In support of these efforts, a new web form is under development where agreements for alternate work schedules, telework, and combined flexible schedules (involving both alternate schedule and telework) will be created and maintained.
To prepare for the switch to the new system, as of July 1, the old telework and alternate work schedule web forms are no longer available. All existing agreements will be migrated from the old forms to the new forms. Between now and the launch of the new form site, which will go live at the end of July, no new agreements can be created and no existing agreements will be able to be updated or renewed. Any agreements that expire over the next few weeks during the transition will be able to be viewed in the new site when it launches.
The new forms will continue to require approvals from the employee’s supervisor and department head. In some cases, the HR representative from the department or college may also need to approve agreements in the new system. Additional information about the new forms site will be shared closer to the launch date.
Tuition Waiver Requests, which were part of the same forms site as the former telework and alternate work schedule agreements, are still available on the site and can be accessed through this link.
