Dean's List member information
a majoring in in the is among the Virginia Tech students named to the Dean's List for the semester.
Undergraduate students who complete a minimum of 12 credit hours graded on the A-F option and who earn a 3.4 grade point average (GPA) for either spring or fall semester will be included on the Dean's List for that term. Any notifications or certificates indicating inclusion on the Dean's List are issued by the dean of the student's home college.
Deans' Lists are not compiled for Summer Session I, Summer Session II and Winter Session.

Students will not appear on the Dean's List if:
- If the student marks their academic record as confidential.
- If the student is not full time. Audit hours do not count toward the minimum 12 credit hours needed for inclusion on Dean’s List.
- If the student is not an undergraduate student.
- If the student does not have an active permanent address.
