Dear Hokies,

As Virginia Tech is monitoring Hurricane Ian, nothing matters more than the holistic wellness of our students with ties to impacted areas. Whenever a situation affects your ability to succeed, we work to provide support and care amid a crisis.

If you or someone you know is struggling with the emotional effects of this devastating weather event, Virginia Tech has many options for support. The Dean of Students office is ready to help, as well as staff from Cook Counseling Center, Residential Well-Being, and Hokie Wellness. Our resources can be found on the university’s status page along with any updates related to campus operations.

On behalf of my colleagues and I, know that you and your family and friends affected by this natural disaster are in our thoughts and we will continue to work together as a community to provide the upmost care.

With hope,

Martha Glass
Interim Dean of Students
