Celebrating Women's History Month
Hokies are celebrating Women's History Month and the 100th anniversary of women students at Virginia Tech.

Women were first admitted to the university for full-time studies in 1921.
Five women—Mary Ella Carr Brumfield, Ruth Terrett, Lucy Lee Lancaster, Louise Jacobs, and Carrie Taylor Sibold—enrolled full-time and an additional seven women enrolled part-time. In 1925 those five women were the first full-time female students to graduate.
