An international percussion sensation featuring performers who use everything but conventional instruments to make music, STOMP comes to the Moss Arts Center on Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m.

The performance will be held in the center’s Anne and Ellen Fife Theatre, located within the Street and Davis Performance Hall at 190 Alumni Mall.

One of the longest running shows off-Broadway, STOMP is a physical theatre experience for audiences of all ages. STOMP performers use their bodies and ordinary objects – matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, Zippo lighters, and hubcaps – to fill the stage with pulse-pounding rhythms.

Created in 1991 by two performers in the United Kingdom, the group made its debut in New York City in 1994 and still offers daily performances at the Orpheum Theatre. There are also separate touring casts of STOMP that perform in the U.S. and Europe.
