On May 9, 2016, a call was made to the Virginia Tech Police Department about vandalism inside a lab in Price Hall.  A small amount of damage was found by reporting officers. The words "Greek was here" were written on a chalk board by possibly the same person or persons that committed the property damage. 

On May 13, 2016, two larceny reports were made that appear to be connected to this incident.  A laptop computer, umbrella, small amount of money, and an inexpensive electronic device were reported stolen from two different locations near the area where the vandalism occurred.

The community is reminded to report all crimes and suspicious activity/persons anywhere on campus to the Virginia Tech Police Department immediately by calling 540-382-4343 or 911. Anonymous tips can be reported online or via the LiveSafe mobile app (for Andoid and iPhone devices).

All community members are reminded to lock their doors when out of their office or residence. All personal items can become easy targets and an unlocked door can be an invitation to a thief.
