In support of Virginia Tech’s new InclusiveVT effort, a search is being launched for a new senior advisor to the president and vice provost for inclusion and diversity.

At Virginia Tech, responsibility and accountability for inclusion and diversity efforts are distributed throughout the institution. The senior advisor to the president reports directly to the president on policies, programs, services, and current issues that shape and impact the university’s progress on inclusion and diversity. As one of the five vice provosts who report to the executive vice president and provost, the vice provost for inclusion and diversity  leads and coordinates Virginia Tech’s distributed model of inclusion and diversity known as InclusiveVT.

Elizabeth Spiller, dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, will chair the search committee. Members of the search committee are the following:

  • Sharrika Adams, associate dean of students, Dean of Students Office
