“Feast” with Art JAM, an exhibit featuring the works of six Virginia artists, will be on display at the Perspective Gallery in Squires Student Center on Virginia Tech's main campus in Blacksburg, Va., through Dec. 10.

Artists Jennifer Lovejoy, Judy Schwab, Ann Reardon, Ali Wieboldt, Martha Dillard, and Martha Olson — whose first initials spell JAM twice over — will be on hand for a Meet the Artists reception at the gallery on Friday, Nov. 4, from 5-7 p.m.

Both the exhibit and the reception are free and open to the public.

The group’s work includes stone carvings and sculptures, acrylic landscape paintings, textiles, metal work, jewelry, and altered paper art. As a group, they have been exhibited at Piedmont Arts in Martinsville, Va.; Allegheny Highland Arts ad Crafts Center in Clifton Forge, Va.; and the Turchin Center at Appalachian State University.

The Perspective Gallery is located on the second floor of Squires Student Center. “Feast” with Art JAM will be on display during the gallery’s normal hours of operation Tuesday-Thursday from noon-5 p.m., Friday from noon-7 p.m., and Saturday from noon-5 p.m. The gallery is closed Sunday and Monday.

The gallery may be open outside of its normal hours during events at Squires Student Center and Theatre 101. For more information, call 540-231-4053, or visit the gallery’s website.
