The Virginia Tech Board of Visitors will hold its quarterly board meeting at 1:15 p.m. Monday, August 27, in the Board Room of Torgersen Hall (Room 2100) on the Blacksburg campus.

In addition, the full board will meet in open session on Sunday, August 26 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Solitude Room at the Inn at Virginia Tech.

The Research Committee will meet on Sunday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Smithfield Room at the Inn at Virginia Tech.

The following committee sessions will be held Monday, August 27 (meetings will be at The Inn at Virginia Tech unless otherwise noted):

  • The Academic Affairs Committee will meet in closed session at 8:30 a.m. in the Drillfield Room; open session will follow at 9 a.m.
  • The Buildings and Grounds Committee will meet in closed session at 8 a.m. in the New River Room and will meet in open session at 9 a.m. in the Huckleberry Room. The committee will then join the Finance and Audit Committee at 11:15 a.m. in the Duck Pond Room.
  • The Finance and Audit Committee will meet in closed session at 7:30 a.m. in the 1872 Salon and will meet in open session at 8:30 a.m. in the Duck Pond Room and will be joined by the Buildings and Grounds Committee at 11:15 a.m.
  • The Student Affairs and Athletics Committee meets in open session at 8:30 a.m. in the Cascades Room.
