The Virginia Tech Board of Visitors will hold special meeting on Saturday, Sept. 24, at noon in the Duckpond Conference Room at the Inn at Virginia Tech.

At the meeting, board members will review the university’s six-year enrollment, academic and financial plans now required by the Restructured Higher Education Financial and Administrative Operations Act.

In addition, the Academic Affairs Committee will meet from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. in the Duckpond Conference Room.

Founded in 1872 as a land-grant college, Virginia Tech has grown to become among the largest universities in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
